"If a picture paints a thousand words" then it can also unite a scattered populace of Bansalenos all over the world. The "picture" started it all. Innocent snapshot of an old building. Yet, it brought back a myriad of memories to those who spent a part of their lives at the ABC gym.

Today, that shabby structure is slowly brought back to life. Thanks to the combined effort of Bansalenos worldwide led by Lalay Noel-Rispens, the municipal government, and the local volunteers, the ABC gym is now nearing completion of its much-deserved facelift.

This renovation project is just one proof that a vision coupled with a firm resolve and good intentions can result in something worthwhile and wonderful. Thanks to a picture and to a group of people who were moved by it.
