Grand Reunion of Bansaleños
December 27, 2007
ABC Gym, Bansalan |
BACKGROUND The idea of a Bansalenos reunion in 2007 was suggested last year even before the Bansalenos reunion in Connecticut, USA was held. As envisioned, this affair is open to all Bansalenos regardless of geographical location, age, school affiliation, etc.
Actually, the Grand Reunion is still on its planning stage. We still have to give form and substance to it so we ask everyone to send all their suggestions. We should come up with concrete plans before the end of the year to give time to those who live abroad to plan their travels.
Since time is ticking , it is about time that we have to make final plans.
Who can attend?
Former/Current Bansaleños living abroad and outside the town of Bansalan (except those who are members of ABW organizations and parents of those living abroad). Others who can attend include those who are so-called “adopted” Bansaleños, invited guests (by any ABW members), and visitors (government officials, etc.)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The venue of the reunion will be the “auditorium” of Vice Mayor Melchor Arches. Vice Mayor Arches is offering his new building located in Curvada which he said will be finished before summer. It is very spacious with adequate parking space. Manoing Mett strongly suggested to hold the reunion there since it is safe and can accommodate 1,000 people or more!”
In order for the committee to know how many people are attending the reunion, it is recommended that a pre-registration be made.
For those living abroad, the pre-registration deadline is extended on October 15, 2007 .
